Ogni nazione, ogni città, ogni casa, si distingue dalle altre per tanti aspetti particolari. In quest album ho voluto riassumere molti dei posti in cui la mia vita ha voluto condurmi, guardandoli da un punto di vista molto particolare: quello che ho mangiato o bevuto in quei posti! Enjoy!

My Drinks & Food all around the world!

Wind Storm!When nature says:"Hey guys,you know who rules?ME!" - Tempesta di vento,ovvero quando la natura dice:"Ehi gente,lo sapete chi comanda?IO!"

That was yesterday evening, around 19:30. I was walking on the way from DTU, the Copenhagen university, to home. I was with Francesco, looking around us and, to be honest, being a bit afraid of what was happening in the air. Denmark, you must be aware of that, is famous for wind energy (that's why I am here, by the way...!). That means Denmark has strong winds. Well, I experienced it yesterday. Never seen such a violent wind, believe me. While we were walking we had to hold on to every thing we found on the border of the street, we really risked to be swept away! But this isn't the worst thing happened. We saw something definitely shocking...have a look at the pictures below, you'll understand! (I made these pictures this morning, yesterday I couldn't...you know, I was too busy running to save my life!!! :-D ).

Also this is Denmark. And this is Nature, she astonishes, she decides, she rules.

Erano le 19:30, ieri sera. Camminavo a piedi, sulla strada dal DTU (l'università di Copenhagen) a casa. Camminavo insieme a Francesco, e insieme ci guardavamo intorno, curiosi ma a dir la verità anche un pò impauriti per quello che stava accadendo nell'aria.

Dovete sapere che la Danimarca è famosa per l'energia eolica, l'energia del vento (questo è anche il motivo per cui io mi trovo qui, in effetti...!). Questo significa che qui c'è tanto vento. Bene, ieri l'ho sperimentato con i miei occhi...mai visto un vento così violento, credetemi! Mentre camminavamo a un certo punto abbiamo dovuto aggrapparci ai bordi della strada perchè stavamo seriamente rischiando di essere spazzati via dal vento! Ma questo è niente...poco dopo abbiamo visto qualcosa di davvero scioccante! Non voglio dire niente, scopritelo da voi guardando le foto qui sotto (nota: ho fatto queste foto solo stamattina...sapete, ieri sera ero troppo impegnato a correre verso casa per salvarmi la vita!!! :-D).

E anche questa, signori, è la Danimarca. E questa è la Natura. Lei ci stupisce, lei decide, lei comanda.

Mind the gap

Here I am, still "minding the gap", still looking at the right side of the street when I cross, still searching for an even cheaper place where to eat chicken (Diogo, this is for you!)...but I am not in London anymore (London "IT'S GONE!!!" would say Julian !!), I am in Copenhagen now, ready to start this new chapter of my life. Let me spend a few words about the british capital: London is magic. Simply that. I've always thought that before this trip...but now, after I visited THE city and I breathed its atmosphere and I experienced its extremely huge internationality (!!!) I'm even more convinced that I was right.

I am sure, I'll go back to London, several times...but I am in Denmark now, and all my energies must be focused on what I have to do in next period, that means: MASTER THESIS!

I'm following my dream...hope you're following yours, as well.

Eccomi qua, con il messaggio "MIND THE GAP" ancora nella testa (per chi non è mai stato a Londra, è il messaggio che regna sovrano in tutte le stazioni di metropolitana), con l'impulso di guardare a destra prima di attraversare la strada, e la voglia di trovare un posto ancora più conveniente dove mangiare (pollo più che altro!)...ma non sono più a Londra, sono a Copenhagen adesso, pronto per iniziare questo nuovo capitolo della mia vita. Ma fatemi spendere ancora due parole a proposito di Londra. Quella città è MAGICA. Semplicemente magica. Sapevo che l'avrei amata già prima di andarci...ma dopo che ci sono stato, dopo aver respirato la sua atmosfera, dopo aver toccato con mano la sua incredibile internazionalità (passatemi questo termine)...beh, mi son reso conto che non sbagliavo! Tornerò a Londra, tante e tante volte. Ma ora sono in Danimarca, e devo concentrare tutte le mie energie sul prossimo obiettivo: TESI. Sarà un lavoro duro e difficile, lo so già. Ma ne vale la pena. Io sto inseguendo il mio sogno. E voi, state inseguendo il vostro?
